Everyone was professional, kind, answered all of our questions, responded in a timely manner and the process was smooth sailing. They communicated w my clinic, coordinated shipping of our embryos and all paperwork. The process from joining to matching was 9 months. We got sent about 4 donor profiles and eventually matched w ours. So so grateful for our donors. I now have my beautiful baby girl in my arms! I wouldn't change a thing about our journey. We had gone through all the things to try to get pregnant, years of testing, hormones, and ttc. Finally, our best remaining option was IVF, but due to our moral convictions about embryos, we didn't feel right about that option for our family. We became really passionate about embryo adoption and desired to be parents for one of the 800,000 embabies currently on ice in our country.

With EC, your contract is completely custom written by your own lawyer (rather than a forced, pre-written template), you can transfer at your own clinic with any doctor you trust, you can select things that are important to you in a bio-family for your child, and you can say "yes" or "no" to profiles without guilt or pressure. It was such a relief that we were able to take our time and find just the right match for us!

Our experience with them: Everything was smooth and they were very clear with us upfront about the process. Everyone was kind and quick to respond. They did an excellent job facilitating our first interactions with the donor family (our child's bio-parents). The only negative thing we did experience was that it took some time to receive donor profiles. We would sent a reminder email every two weeks, which helped to keep the process moving a bit.
